   RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS AND SPECIAL EVENTS 2012.
                                                                
     PLEASE NOTE!!!   ENTRY REQUIREMENT: MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) ENTRIES PER EVENT)

    1. All Matches will be played on Sundays as Scheduled by the Selection Committee.
    Exception (Rule 3-NB). Court allocation at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

    2. Postponed Matches Due to Wet Weather will be moved forward by one (1) week.

    3. No Deferments except in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the Selection Committee.
    NB. If you are unable to play your match as drawn, you may make arrangements with your opponents to
    play the match before the next draw (with the approval of the Selection Committee).
    Exception: Finals matches will only be played on a Scheduled Finals Day (as set by the Selection
    Committee). Should alternate arrangement not be possible the Instigator of the Deferment will have to
    FORFEIT.

    4. Substitutions: No substitutions permitted after contestant/s competes in 1st. Round match.

    5. Please try and Co-Operate by making every effort to play your matches as scheduled and be
    considerate should your opponents experience difficulties with their schedule.  

    6. Participants involved in 1st. Rnd. match will be notified by
    telephone                                                                             

    7. AFTER THE 1ST ROUND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE.

    The scheduled matches will be displayed at Bayview Tennis Club on each preceding Tuesday.

    8. ALL ROUNDS: - BEST OF THREE TIE BREAK SETS. Tie Break played at (6-6) six games all.

    9. SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS: - THIRD SET will be ADVANTAGE SET.

    10. Warm Up Time IS LIMITED TO 5 MINUTES ONLY.

    11. Entry Fee of $5 per person per event - Payable prior to and no later than 1st. scheduled match.
    Fees to be given to the Club Captain.

    12. The Selection Committee reserves the right to vary the above Rules and Conditions.

    NB. ENTRY FEE IS PAYABLE AND NON RE-FUNDABLE FOR FORFEITED MATCHES
